Day Six

West Maui Mountains & Paia - Maui

Today we did a 7 kilometre hike up and back down one section of the Maui mountains. This hike was so hard. The uphill was a killer. It just felt like you were climbing forever. The view at the top and along the way was supurb. The hike down was also hard. I tripped and slipped so many times and my shoes were covered in much, again. Simon and I pretended to be airoplanes flying down the mountains right at the end of the hike. It was a great feeling at the end to have finally fished. Then we headed to the hippy town of Paia. Here Peter, Thalia, Sargent and I went to a flat bread pizza place. It was so yum. Different too. It was cooked in a woodfire oven. Pretty awesome. Peter and I then headed to the beach. The water was too rough for us to go in so we just sat on the beach together. At night I sat in the common room and chatted to people. We watched the move Dejavue. It's a pretty sweet movie.n835375205..33_4685.jpg
